I did mean to add one good thing. No, not good thing. There isn't the proper word for the quiet joy and undeserved blessing I feel about this one thing.

THIS is still true. I love Jacob Mertz with all my heart, and losing sight of that was the stupidest, dumbest, most heart wrenching thing I have ever done. I will never let anything part us again. I can't make up for the past, but I can stay true to our future together. I will say (and if you roll your eyes or whatever, I could care less because sometimes life IS sappy), unapologetically, that he is a part of me. I don't ever want to be apart from him again.
