There once was a girl who took pills. Every morning when she got up, before she did anything else, even kiss her delightful kitten hello, she opened her bottles.
Some days she felt like the pills were the enemy. Little bottles of regimented soldiers telling her what do and shackling her at their whim. On those days she hated the pills.
Some days the pills did nothing and she didn't know anything but dark. She was too tired to hate the pills on those days.
But most days she felt like the pills were helping her dig her way out of a pit and live. Maybe things weren't flowers and butterflies, but they weren't rainstorms and darkness either.
